Mommy did a very mean thing.  First, she took me to get neutered, and on top of that, I had to get my dewclaws removed!  So, ok, maybe it was my fault jumping all over her friend and getting my dewclaw stuck in her jeans.  Gave me a big ouchie.  But still, a double whammy!

So I've been sporting the cone head look for the past 11 days. 



I got my bandages removed last week, and tomorrow morning, FINALLY, I get my stitches removed and I won't be a cone head anymore!

Right before all the surgeries, I lost a bunch of my puppy teeth.  Mommy bravely took a picture of my jack-o-lantern smile, silly girl.



I still love Mommy even though she put me through the worst 2 weeks ever!  I was really happy the week before all this surgery madness because she took me to cousin Baron's house and we played for 5 days straight, all day and all night!




Are we super adorable or what?  Too bad we can't cuddle when we sleep.  We're both only children so the cuddling thing is just weird.

I can't wait until tomorrow morning when I'll be freeeeeeeeeeeee again!!!

It's finally happened!

The constant bloody diarrhea is GONE!  What an amazing feat by this yucky stuff in a plastic bottle that Mommy calls "Flagyl."  It's an antibiotic and it made my diarrhea go away literally in a few short hours!  I am pooping like cousin Baron!  FINALLY!!!

I don't think ya'll understand the torture I've had to undergo since I arrived at my new home.  First coccidia, and now this?  Mommy won't even feed me yogurt anymore because it makes my poop all mushy and watery.  After 10 days of this orange butterscotch flavored stuff called "Albon," I started the "Flagyl" only 3 days later.  I'm pretty good at taking my drugs like cousin Sophie so I know that makes Mommy very happy.

But what doesn't make Mommy very happy is when I pee in my playpen.  She yells at me and then takes me outside.  I don't know what her problem is, but when I gotta go, I gotta go!  She should give me back those puppy pads, but then again, since I ate a whole quarter sheet of it, I guess she's the wiser one to take it away from me.

It's tough being me.  I used to hate potty time, but it's getting better nowadays.  I'm sleeping through the night and always feel refreshed in the morning around 4 am so I'll chew on my bones and wait for Mommy to wake up 45 minutes later.  What a sleepy slacker!  I can't wait until I'm fully vaccinated on July 26th.  After that, Mommy promised to take me on walks around the neighborhood so I can scope out all the doggies in the area and release all the energy that builds up while I'm crated.

I'm getting awfully tired now.  Nap time!

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile.  Last Sunday, I wasn't feeling very well.  My tummy was all upset and I woke up on Monday with some diarrhea.  It wasn't bad at first, but throughout the day, it just got worse and worse.  Thankfully, Mommy had Tuesday off so in the morning, she rushed off a stool sample to my doctor and they confirmed that I tested positive for coccidia.

It's a really ickee parasite in my intestines that causes diarrhea, sometimes bloody and mucousy.  I was pooping upwards to 11 times a day and just plain felt blah.  I still ate tons and drank tons, though, so the doctor said not to worry and gave Mommy some antibiotics to make me feel better.  Soon enough, my body will develop an immunity to this parasite, but in the meantime, the meds are helping relieve the symptoms.

I think Mommy felt really guilty about me being sick so she bought this huge playpen for me to play in when she's home.  Check it out!



Auntie Danielley bought me this really fun, colorful toy and I wouldn't let go of it once Mommy gave it to me!



I know it's just me and I don't have anyone to compete with, but I still looooove stalking a toy, bringing it back to my nest bed, and chewing on it for awhile.  I get bored pretty easily so I'll stalk another toy and hoard it back too.  Mommy thinks it's funny, but don't mess with me and my toys!!!
